The Psychologist plays a crucial role in delivering therapeutic support to clients through structured individual and family sessions. They work in close collaboration with Psychiatrists, Head – Clinical Psychology, Case Managers, Counsellors, RMO/RP, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care, accurate assessment, and effective discharge planning. This role demands empathy, clinical expertise, and robust documentation practices aligned with the values of Abhasa Rehab & Wellness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the client admission process through detailed psychological case history taking.
- In case of unavailability of the Head Clinical Psychologist, conduct the intake session independently and update relevant documentation and the Psychiatrist accordingly.
- Facilitate the psychological orientation of the client post-admission.
- Conduct therapeutic sessions (3 sessions per week per client, subject to increase based on client requirements).
- Maintain detailed session plans and reports.
- Scheduling and coordinating screening sessions.
- Coordinate with Residential Medical Officer/Residential Psychiatrist.
- Coordinate and attend the consultations with the Psychiatrist and Neurofeedback consultant for integrated treatment planning.
- Facilitate family therapy sessions and liaise with psychiatrists to ensure collaborative input.
- Independently conduct family counselling when required, in collaboration with the clinical team.
- Coordinate the family sessions with the Neurofeedback consultant.
- Administer psychological assessments and standardized rating scales to support diagnosis and therapy planning.
- Plan post-care session and coordinate with the psychiatrist.
- Align therapeutic contributions to the preparation of discharge summaries and post-care documentation.
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation including individual session reports, certification reports, post-care reports, and case summaries and individual session plans.
- Ensure appropriate confidentiality on all the documents that you handle.
- Sent monthly e-mail updates to the family.
- Actively participate in interdisciplinary case discussions, clinical meetings, and therapy planning.
- Present cases for review and supervision with the head – clinical psychologist and the case managers
- Shall have a weekly review with the head – clinical psychologist.
- Provide immediate psychological support during client crises in coordination with the clinical team.
Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
