Role Summary

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer with extensive experience in the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) domain. In this role, you will lead the automation of critical financial platforms-including core banking (Flexcube), middle-office transaction engines, payment workflows (NEFT-RTGS), and loan systems. You will design framework architectures, build scalable test suites, and integrate automation directly into CI-CD pipelines.

What You'll Do

- Automation Architecture: Build, maintain, and scale UI and API test automation frameworks using Playwright, Selenium, Java, TypeScript, and Cucumber BDD.
- BFSI System Testing: Validate core banking systems (Flexcube), middle-office order enrichment, downstream transaction flows, payment settlements (NEFT-RTGS), and lending platforms.
- CI-CD & DevOps Integration:



Embed automated regression packs into Jenkins, GitHub, and Bitbucket pipelines to achieve high-frequency, zero-defect releases.
- Data & Log Verification: Inspect Unix server logs (via PuTTY), execute SQL queries, and perform API testing with Postman or JMeter to verify end-to-end data integrity.
- Agile Leadership: Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product teams in Agile sprints and mentor junior QA engineers.

Key Requirements

- Experience: 8+ years in Quality Engineering, with 5+ years focused in the BFSI and Financial Services domain.
- Core Tech Stack: Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, Java, TypeScript, Cucumber BDD, JUnit or TestNG.
- Tools & Utilities: Jenkins, Git or GitHub or Bitbucket, Jira, Postman, SQL, Unix-Linux environment.
- Domain Knowledge: Strong grasp of Core Banking (Flexcube), Middle Office or Order Processing, Retail or MSME Loans, and Payment Processing.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Nice to Have

- Hands-on exposure to AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot in VS Code).
- Relevant industry certifications (Agile/Scrum, Playwright, or ISTQB).
