Job Description – Electrician

Position: Electrician
Department: Maintenance / Engineering
Location: Mohali
Experience: 2–5 Years

Key Responsibilities

- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, switches, sockets, and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults and breakdowns.
- Handle electrical maintenance of office, stores, sites, and other company premises.
- Perform regular inspection and preventive maintenance of electrical systems.
- Maintain and repair lights, fans, AC points, power sockets, MCBs, DBs, and other electrical equipment.
- Ensure proper functioning of electrical systems and timely resolution of complaints.
- Follow all electrical safety standards and company guidelines.
- Maintain basic records of electrical maintenance, repairs, and required materials.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team and report major electrical issues to the concerned manager.




- Ensure safe handling and proper use of electrical tools and equipment.

Requirements

- ITI/Diploma in Electrical or relevant qualification.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience as an Electrician.
- Good knowledge of electrical wiring, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to work independently and handle emergency electrical issues.
- Knowledge of electrical safety procedures.
- Responsible, punctual, and disciplined.
