We are looking for an experienced and responsible Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, ensure smooth functioning of fitness centres, improve operational efficiency, and support business growth.

Job Summary

The Operations Manager will be responsible for managing overall operational activities across fitness centres, coordinating with Club Managers and support teams, monitoring staff performance, ensuring operational standards, and supporting management in achieving business and customer service objectives.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of fitness centres and ensure smooth functioning.
- Monitor and coordinate with Club Managers, Trainers, Front Office, Sales, and support teams.
- Ensure branches follow company policies, SOPs, operational standards, and service procedures.
- Monitor staff attendance, rosters, schedules, punctuality, and discipline.
- Track branch-wise sales, memberships, renewals, PT sessions, walk-ins, leads, and customer engagement.
- Review daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports and share updates with management.
- Identify operational issues and take timely corrective actions.
- Monitor customer service standards and ensure a positive member experience.
- Ensure proper maintenance of gym equipment,



facilities, cleanliness, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Monitor inventory, uniforms, equipment, consumables, and other branch requirements.
- Conduct regular branch visits and evaluate operational performance.
- Implement strategies to improve branch productivity, customer retention, revenue, and operational efficiency.
- Support new branch openings, transfers, expansions, and operational setup.
- Handle escalated customer and employee concerns professionally.
- Conduct regular meetings with branch teams and communicate management decisions effectively.
- Prepare and maintain MIS and operational performance reports.
- Ensure timely completion of management tasks and operational action points.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement effective solutions.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by management.

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in fitness, wellness, hospitality, retail, healthcare, or service industries.
- Experience managing multiple teams or branches will be an advantage.
- Robust knowledge of operations, team management, reporting, and customer service.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets and reporting tools.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple locations, teams, and priorities.
- Willingness to travel between branches in Chennai.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and target-oriented environment.
