About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and creative Design Manager to lead our design team and oversee the successful delivery of web, UI/UX, graphic, and digital design projects.

The ideal candidate will combine strong design expertise with team leadership, creative direction, project management, resource planning, and client/stakeholder management skills.

You will be responsible for leading and mentoring designers, managing project workflows, maintaining design quality and consistency, providing creative direction, and ensuring projects are delivered on time while meeting client expectations and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Design Leadership & Team Management

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Graphic, Web, and UI/UX Designers.

- Allocate projects and tasks based on team members' skills, experience, availability, and workload.

- Provide creative direction, constructive feedback, and guidance to improve individual and team performance.

- Conduct regular design reviews, quality checks, and performance assessments.

- Identify skill gaps and support team members through coaching, training, and development initiatives.

- Foster a collaborative, creative, and positive team environment.

- Encourage knowledge sharing, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Project & Workflow Management

- Oversee multiple design projects from concept through final delivery.

- Plan project timelines, priorities, resources, and deliverables.

- Coordinate with Project Managers, Developers, Marketing Teams, Content Writers, and other stakeholders.

- Monitor project progress and ensure deliverables are completed within agreed timelines.

- Identify and address project risks, resource constraints, bottlenecks, and dependencies.

- Manage competing priorities while maintaining quality, consistency, and efficiency.

- Establish and maintain effective design workflows, processes, and review mechanisms.

Creative Direction & Quality Control

- Establish and maintain design standards, guidelines, and best practices across projects.

- Review and approve designs before final delivery.

- Ensure consistency in branding, typography, color, layout, visual hierarchy, and user experience.

- Provide creative direction for websites,



landing pages, mobile applications, social media creatives, marketing materials, and digital assets.

- Ensure designs align with client requirements, business objectives, brand guidelines, and current design trends.

- Encourage experimentation with recent design approaches, tools, technologies, and AI-powered solutions.

- Maintain a consistently high standard of visual quality across all deliverables.

UI/UX & Web Design

- Guide the team in creating intuitive, user-focused, and visually engaging digital experiences.

- Review wireframes, user flows, mockups, prototypes, and design systems.

- Ensure responsive and user-friendly experiences across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.

- Work closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of approved designs.

- Promote usability, accessibility, consistency, and performance-focused design practices.

- Ensure design solutions effectively balance user needs, business objectives, and technical requirements.

Client & Stakeholder Management

- Participate in client discussions to understand requirements, expectations, feedback, and business objectives.

- Present design concepts, recommendations, and creative solutions to clients and internal stakeholders.

- Handle design-related queries, feedback, revisions, and escalations professionally.

- Translate client and business requirements into clear creative direction for the design team.

- Manage expectations and maintain timely communication throughout the design process.

- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.

Process Improvement

- Establish efficient design workflows, review processes, and documentation standards.

- Identify opportunities to improve team productivity, design quality, efficiency, and turnaround time.

- Introduce relevant tools, methodologies, and best practices to streamline design operations.

- Maintain organized design libraries, assets, templates, and brand guidelines.

- Promote the consistent use of design systems and reusable components.

- Stay updated with emerging design trends, AI-powered design tools, technologies, and industry best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 5–8 years of professional experience in Graphic Design, Web Design, UI/UX Design, or a related field.





- Previous experience as a Design Manager, Design Lead, Senior Designer, or in a similar leadership role.

- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise across web, graphic, UI/UX, and digital design.

- Strong proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe XD, or similar applications.

- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, responsive design, typography, color theory, layout, composition, and visual hierarchy.

- Proven experience leading, mentoring, and developing design teams.

- Strong project planning, prioritization, workload management, and resource allocation skills.

- Excellent communication, presentation, client-handling, and stakeholder-management skills.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high design standards.

- Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong creative, analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience working with international clients or global design teams.

- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and basic frontend development concepts.

- Experience creating and maintaining design systems and brand guidelines.

- Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, Asana, ClickUp, or similar platforms.

- Experience with motion graphics, animation, or video editing is an added advantage.

- Knowledge of accessibility and cross-browser design principles.

- Familiarity with AI-based design and productivity tools is a plus.

- Experience working in an Agile or collaborative product development environment.
