About the Role

Luniea is a digital marketing and creative agency working across video production, digital marketing, branding, and social media.

We’re looking for a skilled Video Editor & Creative Designer to join our team on a long-term remote contract. Video editing will be the primary focus of this position.

The work will vary significantly from project to project. You may edit short-form social media content, commercials, promotional videos, interviews, corporate content, documentaries, and other client productions. We are looking for someone who can work efficiently with professional raw footage and adapt their editing approach to different formats, audiences, and creative directions.

Graphic design and photo editing will also be part of the role when needed, including social media graphics, thumbnails, marketing materials, and photo retouching.

What You'll Do

- Edit a wide range of video content, including commercials, documentaries, promotional videos, interviews, corporate videos, Reels, Shorts, and other digital content
- Work with professional raw footage, including 4K footage, proxy workflows, and locally stored project files
- Edit efficiently in Adobe Premiere Pro, particularly when working with larger volumes of footage
- Review, organize, and select footage to build clear and engaging stories
- Handle pacing, sequencing, music, captions, transitions, basic sound editing, and color correction
- Adapt editing style based on the client, platform, audience, and purpose of each project
- Work from creative briefs, scripts, shot lists, and team direction
- Manage revisions efficiently and incorporate client/team feedback
- Edit and retouch photos when needed
- Create occasional graphics, social media assets, thumbnails, banners, and other marketing materials
- Maintain organized project files and follow Luniea's production workflow




- Deliver projects reliably and within agreed deadlines

Must-Have Qualifications

- Strong professional experience with Adobe Premiere Pro
- Strong video editing portfolio demonstrating more than one type of video content
- Ability to edit quickly and efficiently while maintaining professional quality
- Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, shot selection, music, and visual flow
- Experience working with professional raw footage and 4K/proxy workflows
- Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
- Good graphic design and photo-editing skills
- Ability to adapt to different brands and creative styles
- Strong file organization and project-management habits
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Reliable communication and ability to meet deadlines consistently

Technical Requirements

Candidates must have:

- A reliable computer suitable for professional video editing
- A dedicated/discrete GPU capable of supporting Adobe Premiere Pro workflows
- Sufficient RAM and fast local storage for working with large video projects
- Ability to work efficiently with 4K footage, proxies, and large locally stored media files
- Reliable high-speed internet for transferring large production files
- A reliable electricity supply and work environment suitable for consistent work from home
- A proper microphone/webcam setup for online team and client meetings

Preferred Qualifications

- Adobe After Effects and motion graphics experience




- Experience with documentary or narrative-style editing
- Experience editing commercials and branded content
- Experience with professional camera footage
- Strong color correction and audio-editing skills
- Experience working with creative agencies or multiple client brands

Engagement & Compensation:

- Remote independent contractor role
- Fixed monthly compensation based on an agreed and consistent scope of work
- Flexible working hours with no fixed daily schedule
- Long-term opportunity with ongoing client work
- Additional compensation applies if the agreed scope significantly increases
- All subscriptions to the editing softwares will be provided by the company

Pay: ₹35,000.00 per month
