Job Summary

The Cyber Security Intern will assist the IT team in maintaining basic cybersecurity practices and supporting day-to-day security-related activities. This role is designed for someone who is interested in learning about cybersecurity, identifying common security risks, and gaining practical exposure to IT and information security practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the IT team with basic cybersecurity and IT security-related tasks.
- Help monitor systems and report any unusual or suspicious activities to the concerned team member.
- Help identify and report suspicious emails, links, files, or phishing attempts.
- Assist with maintaining cybersecurity-related records, checklists, and documentation.
- Support basic data backup and security practices under the guidance of the IT team.
- Assist in conducting basic security checks and ensuring systems follow company security practices.
- Help create awareness among employees about basic cybersecurity practices such as strong passwords, phishing, and safe browsing.




- Assist the team in resolving basic security-related issues and escalate concerns when required.
- Learn and stay updated on common cybersecurity threats, trends, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity and networking concepts.
- Basic knowledge of common cybersecurity threats such as phishing, malware, and social engineering.
- Familiarity with computers, Windows OS, and basic IT concepts.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Strong willingness to learn and develop practical cybersecurity skills.
- Attention to detail and a responsible approach toward handling information.

Job Type: Full time

Pay: ₹7,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Alkapuri, Vadodara, Gujarat: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
