Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage daily accounting operations, financial transactions, and records of our supermarket. The ideal candidate should have good accounting knowledge, accuracy in financial reporting, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail setting.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain daily accounts and financial records of the supermarket.
- Record sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, and payment transactions.
- Manage cash transactions, cash reconciliation, and daily cash reports.
- Verify invoices, bills, and payment documents.
- Monitor supplier payments, outstanding balances, and accounts payable.
- Maintain accounts receivable and customer payment records.
- Reconcile bank statements and cash balances.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
- Assist in stock valuation, inventory reconciliation, and loss or variance analysis.




- Ensure accurate data entry and proper filing of accounting documents.
- Coordinate with store operations, suppliers, and the management team.
- Perform other accounting duties assigned by the management.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum qualification: B.Com or equivalent degree in Commerce.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
- Good numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and organizational skills.

Experience

- Freshers may apply.
- Previous experience in supermarket, retail, or FMCG accounting will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
