Position: Jewelry CAD Designer

Experience: 2–5 Years
Industry: Gold & Diamond Jewelry Manufacturing

Job Responsibilities

- Create accurate 3D CAD designs for gold and diamond jewelry as per customer requirements and approved sketches.
- Develop detailed jewelry models using Matrix and JewelCAD software.
- Convert sketches, images, and concepts into accurate 3D jewelry models.
- Design rings, earrings, pendants, bracelets, necklaces, bangles, and other jewelry products.
- Ensure CAD designs match the approved design, dimensions, proportions, and specifications.
- Prepare production-ready CAD models suitable for 3D printing, casting, and manufacturing.
- Ensure proper stone placement, setting, prong size, metal thickness, and overall construction.
- Check designs for technical feasibility before sending them to production.
- Make necessary modifications and corrections based on customer and production requirements.
- Coordinate with Production, Setting, Casting, and QC teams for design-related requirements.
- Maintain proper CAD files and design records.
- Ensure accurate measurements and weight requirements as per company standards.
- Optimize designs to minimize unnecessary metal usage while maintaining the required strength and appearance.
- Complete assigned designs within the required production timeline.




- Maintain confidentiality of customer designs and company designs.
- Follow company design and quality standards.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of Matrix and JewelCAD software.
- Practical experience in gold and diamond jewelry CAD designing.
- Good knowledge of jewelry manufacturing processes.
- Understanding of stone setting, casting, polishing, and finishing requirements.
- Ability to convert sketches and concepts into accurate 3D models.
- Good understanding of jewelry proportions, measurements, and construction.
- Robust attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good visualization and design skills.
- Ability to make corrections according to production requirements.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple designs.

Qualification

Minimum: 12th Pass / Graduate
Preferred: Diploma / Certification in Jewelry CAD Designing.
