About the Role

We are looking for a disciplined, experienced and responsible Retired Army Officer to take charge of the overall administration, operational discipline and day-to-day functioning of our alcohol manufacturing plant in Kolhapur.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in leadership, manpower management, administration, security, logistics, reporting and operational control and should be capable of managing teams and ensuring accountability across the plant.

This is a direct company employment on a full time salary basis. This is not a security guard or security agency position.

Key Responsibilities

Plant Operations & Administration

- Oversee the day-to-day functioning and administration of the plant.
- Ensure smooth coordination between Production, Maintenance, Stores, Dispatch, Quality, Security and Administration.
- Establish and maintain strong operational discipline and accountability.
- Monitor daily activities and ensure work is completed as planned.
- Identify operational issues and ensure timely corrective action.
- Maintain daily plant reports and provide regular updates to management.

Manpower & Discipline

- Supervise plant employees, workers, supervisors and support staff.
- Monitor attendance, shift deployment, manpower requirements and discipline.
- Ensure employees follow company rules, SOPs and workplace procedures.
- Address manpower-related issues and maintain a professional working environment.
- Ensure proper allocation of responsibilities and accountability at every level.

Security & Control

- Oversee overall plant security and access control.
- Monitor movement of employees, visitors, vehicles, materials and finished goods.




- Coordinate with security personnel and ensure proper security procedures are followed.
- Maintain strict control over sensitive areas, stores, production areas and dispatch.
- Take appropriate action during security incidents or operational emergencies.

Production & Operational Coordination

- Coordinate with the Production and Technical teams to ensure smooth plant operations.
- Monitor production schedules, downtime, maintenance requirements and operational issues.
- Coordinate with Stores and Dispatch for proper material and finished-goods movement.
- Ensure proper implementation of SOPs, safety procedures and housekeeping standards.
- Support management in improving operational efficiency and reducing losses.

Reporting & Management Support

- Prepare and review daily/weekly MIS and operational reports.
- Monitor production, manpower, inventory, dispatch, maintenance and security reports.
- Escalate important operational issues to senior management promptly.
- Implement management instructions and ensure proper follow-up.
- Support management in developing better systems, controls and operational processes.

Candidate Requirements

- Retired Army Officer preferred.
- Retired Commissioned Officer / JCO / Senior NCO with strong leadership experience.
- Experience managing large teams, administration or operational activities.
- Strong discipline, integrity and leadership qualities.
- Good understanding of security, logistics,



manpower management and operational control.
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to handle difficult situations, emergencies and manpower-related issues.
- Basic computer knowledge and ability to prepare/read MIS reports.
- Experience in manufacturing, factory, distillery, bottling plant, warehouse or industrial operations will be a strong advantage.
- Must be willing to stay and work at the Kolhapur plant location.

will be preferred.

Important

This position is not for a Security Officer / Security Guard role.

We are specifically looking for an Ex-Army who can take responsibility for plant-level administration, discipline, manpower, security, coordination and overall operational control.
