Job Summary

The Assistant Restaurant Manager supports the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring excellent guest service, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and cleanliness.

This role plays a key part in driving team performance, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in managing day-to-day restaurant operations Supervise, train, and motivate front-of-house and/or back-of-house staff

Ensure exceptional guest service and handle customer complaints professionally Support staff scheduling, attendance tracking, and shift management

Monitor food quality, presentation, and portion control

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations

Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and cost control





Support sales initiatives and upselling strategies to meet revenue targets Step in for the Restaurant Manager when required

Qualifications & Skills

Proven experience in a restaurant supervisory or assistant manager role

Strong leadership and people-management skills

Excellent communication and customer service abilities

Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and restaurant operations

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Solid problem-solving and organizational skills

Basic knowledge of POS systems and inventory management

Education & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent (Hospitality degree or certification is a plus)

7 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
