Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Software Test Engineer with 6 years of experience in both manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining test plans to ensure high-quality software delivery. They will work closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to enhance the overall software quality and automation efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Test Planning & Execution: Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Automation Testing: Design and implement automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, Appium, TestNG, or Cypress to optimize testing processes.
- Manual Testing: Perform in-depth manual testing for UI, API, database, and end-to-end workflows.
- Defect Management: Identify, document, track, and resolve software defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps.
- API & Performance Testing: Conduct API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI and performance testing using JMeter or LoadRunner.




- CI/CD Integration: Work with DevOps teams to integrate automated test scripts into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
- Security & Compliance Testing: Ensure software compliance with security and regulatory standards.
- Collaboration & Reporting: Work closely with development and business teams to ensure high-quality releases and provide detailed test reports

Qualification:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.6+ years of experience in both manual and automation testing in an Agile setting.
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, Appium, or Playwright.
- Strong knowledge of programming languages for automation (Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#).
- Experience in API testing.
- Familiarity with SQL queries for database validation.
- Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Experience working with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
