Summary
As a Data Engineer, your typical day involves designing, developing, and maintaining comprehensive data solutions that support the generation, collection, and processing of data. You will be responsible for creating effective data pipelines that facilitate smooth data flow and ensure the integrity and quality of data throughout its lifecycle. Your role includes implementing processes to extract, transform, and load data, enabling seamless migration and deployment across various systems. Collaboration with different teams to optimize data handling and support business needs is an integral part of your daily activities.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure continuous and reliable data availability.
- Document data processes and workflows to maintain clarity and support knowledge sharing.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support in their tasks.
Professional & Technical Skills
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Snowflake Data Warehouse, Data Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of data modeling concepts and best practices within cloud data platforms.
- Experience in designing and optimizing ETL workflows to handle large volumes of data efficiently.
- Familiarity with SQL and scripting languages to manipulate and query data effectively.
- Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance standards in data management.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline issues to maintain high data quality.
Additional Information
- The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Snowflake Data Warehouse.
- This position is based at our PDC3C - SEZ location.
- A 15-year full-time education is required.
