Description

Experienced Unix, Oracle PL-SQL Lead, Developer responsible for designing, developing, supporting, and optimizing enterprise applications using Oracle PL-SQL and Unix/Linux technologies. Solid hands-on experience with Unix/Linux shell scripts. Delivers scalable, high-performance solutions while supporting production environments and driving technical excellence.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain Oracle database applications using SQL and PL-SQL.
- Develop and support Packages, Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Views, and Materialized Views.
- Create and maintain Unix, Linux shell scripts for automation and batch processing.
- Manage and optimize batch jobs using Autosys, Control-M, or Cron.
- Analyze business requirements and provide technical solutions.




- Perform SQL query optimization, database performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Support production incidents, root cause analysis, and application releases.
- Support application deployments and release activities across Unix servers.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and technical documentation.

Must Have Skills

- Oracle SQL and PL-SQL
- Packages, Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Views
- Unix/Linux Commands and Shell Scripting (Korn Shell, Bash Shell, Bourne Shell)
- Shell Script Debugging and Optimization
- Autosys, Control-M, or Cron Job Scheduling
- SQL Query Optimization & Performance Tuning
- Oracle Database Concepts and Data Modeling
- Production Support & Incident Management
- Agile/Scrum Methodology
- Version Control Tools (Git, Azure DevOps, Bitbucket)

- CI/CD and DevOps Practices
- AWS or Azure Cloud Exposure
- Jira and Project Tracking Tools

Additional Information

- Experience: 3-8 Years
