Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning, execution, and supervision of shipbuilding, ship repair, and maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with supervisors, technicians, welders, fitters, and subcontractors for smooth project execution.
- Monitor mechanical repair works involving engines, pumps, compressors, valves, piping systems, and auxiliary machinery.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical manuals, specifications, and repair procedures.
- Conduct onboard inspections, measurements, and condition assessments of machinery and equipment.
- Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, quality standards, and project schedules.
- Prepare daily progress reports, inspection records, work completion reports, and technical documentation.
- Support dry-docking,
machinery overhauls, commissioning, testing, and sea trial activities.
- Coordinate material requirements, tools, equipment, and manpower for assigned tasks.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, permit-to-work systems, and shipyard procedures.
- Assist in troubleshooting mechanical defects and implementing corrective actions.
- Liaise with clients, classification societies, vessel crew, and internal departments as required.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
