Position description: Join Jindal Ferrous Limited's Blast Furnace - E&A; department as a key technical professional responsible for supporting the operation, maintenance, and optimization of electrical and automation systems within the blast furnace setting. This role demands a proactive approach to ensure the reliability and efficiency of critical equipment, contributing to the overall productivity and safety standards of one of the leading companies in the Mining & Metals industry. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to implement innovative solutions and uphold stringent quality and safety protocols.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Assist in the design, installation, and commissioning of electrical and automation systems specific to blast furnace operations.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical equipment to minimize downtime and ensure operational continuity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and instrumentation issues promptly to support uninterrupted blast furnace processes.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and operations teams to optimize system performance and implement energy-efficient solutions.




- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, system modifications, and compliance with safety standards.
- Support the implementation of automation upgrades and integration of new technologies to enhance process control.
- Ensure adherence to company safety policies and regulatory requirements during all engineering activities.
- Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and process efficiency.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for procurement, installation, and servicing of electrical components.
- Provide technical support and training to operations personnel on electrical and automation systems.
