Job Title: Boring Machine Operator

TREAT is looking for Boring Machine Operators to operate boring machines and perform machining operations as per production requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate boring machines safely and efficiently.
- Read and understand basic engineering drawings and job specifications.
- Perform boring, drilling, facing and related machining operations.
- Set, align and clamp components properly before machining.
- Select suitable cutting tools and inserts.
- Set and monitor machining parameters such as speed, feed and depth of cut.
- Check job dimensions using Vernier caliper, micrometer, bore gauge and other measuring instruments.
- Monitor machining operations and ensure dimensional accuracy.
- Identify tool wear, vibration, surface finish and dimensional issues.
- Carry out tool changes and basic machine adjustments.
- Inspect finished components according to drawing requirements.




- Maintain machine cleanliness and proper housekeeping.
- Follow production schedules and achieve assigned targets.
- Follow all safety procedures and use required PPE.
- Report machine, tooling and quality problems to the Supervisor.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Management.

Qualification & Requirements

- ITI / Diploma – Mechanical preferred.
- Freshers and experienced candidates can apply.
- Basic knowledge of machining and engineering drawings is preferred.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments will be an added advantage.
- Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment.

Salary

Freshers: Take-home approximately ₹13,500 per month.

Experienced Candidates: Salary will be based on relevant experience, skills and performance.
