We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team as an AutoCAD Draftsman & Civil Site Executive. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine technical drafting skills with on-site project execution and supervision.
Key Responsibilities
Drafting:
- Prepare accurate 2D civil and structural drawings using AutoCAD.
- Revise and update drawings based on engineer/client comments.
- Create General Arrangement (GA) drawings, layout drawings, sections, elevations, and detailing.
- Maintain drawing records and ensure document control.
Site Execution:
- Supervise day-to-day construction activities at the project site.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project teams.
- Monitor work quality, safety, and progress as per project schedules.
- Verify measurements and maintain daily site reports.
- Ensure execution is carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
Project Support:
- Coordinate with project engineers and site teams for drawing updates.
- Assist in quantity estimation and preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQs) where required.
- Assist in billing,
quantity verification, and material management.
- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Diploma in Civil Engineering, B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering, or ITI (Civil Draftsman) with relevant AutoCAD skills.
- Experience: 3–5 years of relevant experience is preferred. Freshers with strong AutoCAD knowledge are also encouraged to apply.
Required Skills
- Mandatory proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Good understanding of civil and structural drawings.
- Familiarity with MS Office (Excel and Word).
- Ability to read engineering drawings and coordinate effectively with project teams.
- Valuable communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Civil 3D, MicroStation, or Revit is an added advantage.
- Previous site execution experience in residential, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
