Job Title: Service Now Architect
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Service Now Architect with 8+ years of overall IT experience and strong expertise in designing, architecting, and delivering enterprise-scale Service Now solutions. The ideal candidate should possess deep technical knowledge of the Service Now platform, hands-on experience across multiple Service Now modules, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Candidates with Service Now Certified Technical Architect (CTA) certification will be preferred; however, the certification is not mandatory for someone who is already excelling in a Technical Architect role.
Experience: 8+ Years
Key Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end Service Now solutions aligned with business and enterprise architecture standards. - Define technical architecture, integration strategy, and platform governance for Service Now implementations. - Lead architecture discussions and provide technical guidance to development teams. - Design scalable, secure, and high-performing Service Now solutions following platform best practices. - Review technical designs, customizations, integrations, and code to ensure quality and maintainability. - Collaborate with business stakeholders, solution consultants, developers, and project managers to deliver successful implementations.



- Drive platform optimization, upgrade planning, and technical roadmap initiatives. - Mentor developers and provide architectural leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of overall IT experience with significant hands-on experience on the Service Now platform. - Strong experience in Service Now Technical Architecture and solution design. - Hands-on exposure to at least 4–5 Service Now modules. - Robust understanding of Service Now platform capabilities, architecture, and best practices. - Experience in designing integrations using REST, SOAP APIs, Integration Hub, MID Server, and third-party systems. - Expertise in Java Script, Service Now scripting, Flow Designer, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, ACLs, and Workflows. - Strong knowledge of CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, and platform governance is desirable. - Experience in performance optimization, security, scalability, and platform upgrades. - Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Service Now Module Experience
Candidates should have hands-on experience in at least 4–5 of the following modules:
- IT Service Management (ITSM) - IT Operations Management (ITOM) - IT Business Management (ITBM/SPM) - Customer Service Management (CSM) - HR Service Delivery (HRSD) - Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC/IRM) - Integrated Risk Management (IRM) - Security Operations (Sec Ops) - Asset Management (HAM/SAM) - CMDB & Discovery
Preferred Certifications
- Service Now Certified Technical Architect (CTA) – Preferred, not mandatory. - Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA) - Service Now Certified Application Developer (CAD) - Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in one or more modules
