Job Title: Technical Sales & Services Engineer – Waste Water Treatment

Qualification : B.E./B. Tech (Environmental / Chemical / Mechanical); MBA preferred

Job Summary: This position will be responsible for providing technical services, project planning and execution for sales of waste water treatment products and support at field activities.

Key Responsibilities: 1. Sales Growth & Revenue Generation:

Deliver on monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets (₹XX Cr annually).

Identify and convert high-value leads into revenue-generating clients.

Develop and implement sales strategies for industrial, commercial, and municipal segments.

2. Market Development:

Expand product footprint in untapped regions and industries.

Build relationships with EPC contractors, OEMs, consultants, and large end-users.

Identify new product opportunities and relay market insights to product and R&D; teams.

3. Account & Pipeline Management

Manage full sales cycle: lead generation → qualification → proposal → closure → post-sales support.

Maintain a healthy sales funnel in CRM with weekly updates and forecasting accuracy above 90%.

Build long-term strategic relationships with key accounts to ensure repeat business.

4. Technical Sales Support:

Conduct site visits, client meetings, and product demos.

Collaborate with application engineering and project teams to design optimal solutions.

Create techno-commercial proposals with an emphasis on value engineering.

5. Reporting & Coordination:





Provide weekly/monthly sales reports, pipeline updates, and competitor analysis.

Coordinate with logistics, service, and finance teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and client satisfaction.

6. Create and amend all the required SOPs and provide comprehensive project reports with regards to the technical services functions.

7. Implement rigorous quality control measures through structured audits, inspections, and performance evaluations and enforce all requisite compliances and safety regulations.

8. Providing leadership, communication, and strategic planning to drive performance, maintain motivation, and achieve organizational goals to the team members.

9. Any other work provided by the company.

10. Adopt value engineering practices to achieve cost-effective practices/operations/service.

11. Promote good engineering practices in all the technical operations of the company-quality control, production, site services & works

KPIs (Key Performance Indicators):

ü Monthly revenue target achievement

ü New client acquisition rate

ü Sales funnel conversion ratio (%)

ü Number of technical meetings/demos per month

ü Client retention & repeat order rate

Required Qualifications:

ü B.E./B. Tech in Environmental, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering; MBA (Sales/Marketing) is a plus

ü 9–12 years of B2B technical sales experience in water or wastewater treatment

ü Proven track record of achieving sales targets

ü Strong technical understanding of STPs, ETPs, RO systems, membranes, dosing systems, etc.

ü Strong presentation and client communication abilities

ü Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional coordination

ü Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho), MS Office, and tendering processes
