Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the Industrial Design team and manage the overall design function.
- Manage multiple design projects, timelines, budgets and priorities.
- Understand client requirements and develop innovative, market-ready design concepts.
- Coordinate with product, engineering and marketing teams.
- Oversee prototypes, mock-ups,
usability testing and design improvements.
- Handle client communication and maintain solid relationships.
- Ensure design quality, standards and consistency across projects.
- Stay updated with new materials, technologies, design trends and consumer preferences.
- Maintain project documentation and regularly report progress to the Studio Head.
- Take ownership of projects and ensure timely completion.
Preferred Candidate Profile
M.Des in Product/Industrial Design with 5–10 years of experience in design consultancy or corporate design. Strong SolidWorks, plastics, manufacturing and prototyping skills with team, project and client management experience.
