About the Company

Develop and execute integrated production planning by aligning customer needs, inventory norms, and plant capacities. Ensure timely dispatch and delivery through efficient logistics management. Optimize inventory and material movement to enhance cost-efficiency and reduce waste. Collaborate across departments (Sales, SMS, RMS, ESR, FS & QA) to support production & smooth dispatch. Lead process improvement and automation initiatives for better productivity.

About the Role

Prepare and release weekly/monthly production plans in advance for SMS, RMS, FS & ESR departments. Ensures all parties are fully cognizant of production status, & that work planning and execution objectives are integrated & communicated.

Responsibilities

- Coordinate end-to-end PPC and logistics activities, including stock reconciliation and dispatch on daily basis.
- Develop time and action calendars for each customer order to ensure timely execution of the customer demands. Ensuring each order meets dispatch dates target according to sales forecasts or customer orders.
- Monitor plan vs. actual deviations and initiate corrective actions on daily basis.
- To ensure finished goods (FG) to be dispatched as per the daily schedule in close co-ordination with Sales, FS and Dispatch Team.
- To effectively guide for raw Material Planning (3 months rolling forecast for Marketing) existing inventory (RM WIG & FG)

- To ensure scheduling and machine loading & sequencing of loading of each equipment.
- Top monitor computations of yield grade wise, heat wise, product wise, process wise including raw material consumptions, ferro alloys.
- Identify areas of automation in planning and logistics operations.
- Monitoring productivity of each product against in each process for computation of yield.
- Ensure Material balancing & calculations of overall equipment efficiency, capacity & productivity.
- Production Optimization- Optimum utilization of man, material, methods & machines. Quality and Delivery targets at optimum cost and at high standards of safety, Hygiene and setting.
- Ensure material processing with outside vendors (Priority BSSL & VAS) & ensure timely Logistics and despatch.
- Management of Sales inquiries, co-ordination for feasibility, costing, delivering time with production, purchase, costing to support marketing department. - Handling all customer queries received through marketing department in relation to delivery schedules etc. - Single point contact for marketing department – for delivery, feasibility and costing.
- Processing of material at Bharat Forge viz. heat treatment.
- Oversee safety, legal, and environmental compliance within PPC & logistics scope.
- Provide leadership and coaching to PPC and logistics teams.
- Recommend manpower, CAPEX/OPEX, and transporter tie-ups to senior management.
- Preparation of Annual Budget along with MIS/Costing Department.
