Position Summary
Safety Projects Pvt Ltd is seeking an experienced and result-driven Production Engineer responsible for complete production execution from raw material to finished product while ensuring productivity, quality, safety, manpower management, and on-time delivery. The role requires robust shop floor leadership, fabrication process expertise, and coordination across multiple departments to ensure efficient manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities
Production Execution & Shop Floor Management
● Execute daily production plans and ensure achievement of production targets.
● Manage and supervise fabrication shop floor activities.
● Monitor and control operations including:
○ Laser Cutting
○ Tube Laser
○ CNC Bending
○ Welding
○ Machining
○ Grinding
○ Paint Booth
○ Assembly
● Ensure smooth workflow and process discipline across all production stages.
Production Planning & Scheduling
● Execute production schedules as per ERP planning.
● Monitor production progress and ensure timely completion of jobs.
● Optimize material utilization and minimize wastage.
● Ensure adherence to delivery timelines and production priorities.
Quality & Process Control
● Reduce rejection, rework, and process deviations.
● Monitor welding quality and fabrication standards.
● Conduct root cause analysis for production delays and quality issues.
● Implement corrective and preventive actions for process improvement.
Resource & Manpower Management
● Monitor machine utilization and production efficiency.
● Allocate manpower effectively based on production requirements.
● Prepare and manage shift planning and workforce deployment.
● Ensure shop floor discipline, safety,



and productivity.
Coordination & Reporting
Coordinate effectively with:
● Design Department
● Stores
● Purchase Department
● Dispatch Team
● Site Team
● Monitor consumable usage and production efficiency.
● Prepare daily production MIS and operational reports.
● Support implementation of SOPs, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualification
● BE / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Experience
● 2–5 years of relevant experience in fabrication and manufacturing industry.

Required Skills
● Strong understanding of fabrication processes
● SS 316 fabrication knowledge
● Welding process expertise
● CNC and VMC process understanding
● Drawing reading and interpretation
● BOM understanding
● ERP operations and production tracking
