URGENT HIRING – OT IN-CHARGE

Location: Tezpur, Assam

Position: OT In-Charge

Qualification: B.Sc Nursing / GNM

Experience: 5–6 years of relevant OT experience

Job Role

We are looking for an experienced OT In-Charge who can independently manage and oversee the complete Operation Theatre operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Take complete responsibility for day-to-day OT operations

- Manage OT scheduling and coordinate with surgeons, anaesthetists and clinical teams

- Supervise OT nurses, technicians and support staff

- Ensure OT readiness before every surgery

- Maintain adequate availability of surgical instruments, consumables and equipment

- Coordinate with CSSD for sterilized instruments and supplies

- Ensure proper sterilization, infection-control and OT safety protocols

- Maintain OT registers, checklists and required documentation

- Monitor OT inventory and coordinate with the stores department

- Ensure proper cleaning,



disinfection and maintenance of OT areas

- Coordinate smooth patient transfer and positioning for procedures

- Identify and resolve OT-related operational issues

- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and quality standards

Candidate Profile

✅ B.Sc Nursing / GNM

✅ 5–6 years of hands-on OT experience

✅ Strong knowledge of OT procedures, sterilization and infection control

✅ Good team-management and coordination skills

✅ Ability to independently handle complete OT operations

✅ Strong organizational and communication skills
