Job Title: Software Engineer – C++

Location: [Bangalore]

Role Overview

We are looking for a Software Engineers to join our team. In this role, you will contribute to building, maintaining, and optimizing the software interfaces that is used in industrial inspection systems. You will work alongside senior developers to implement core C++ functionality, debug protocol communications, and support image processing integration for advanced equipments.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop, test, and maintain high-performance applications in C++ for industrial equipment control.

· Implement and troubleshoot communication routines for factory host and equipment interactions.

· Collaborate with software, hardware, and QA teams to integrate image processing and driver interfaces.

· Participate in code reviews, write unit tests, and document technical specifications.

· Analyze and fix system bugs to improve software performance and reliability.

Required Qualifications

· Core Skill: Proficiency in modern C++ (C++11/14/17) with a solid grasp of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), memory management,



and data structures, STL and Unit Testing.

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (2+ years of experience).

· Fundamental understanding of multi-threading, asynchronous programming, and system level debugging.

· Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and IDEs (e.g., Visual Studio).

· Solid logical reasoning, problem-solving skills, and eagerness to learn industrial standards.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

· MFC (Microsoft Foundation Class): Experience maintaining or updating legacy Windows GUI applications.

· SECS/GEM Protocols: Familiarity with SECS/GEM standards (SECS-I, SECS-II, GEM) or tools like GEMAP.

· Computer Vision: Basic background in Image Processing techniques and exposure to vision libraries tools like HALCON.

· Prior exposure to semiconductor manufacturing processes, industrial automation, or serial/socket network communications.
