About NK Securities Research NK Securities Research is a leading financial firm that leverages cuttingedge technology and sophisticated algorithms to trade the financial markets Founded in 2011 we have gained invaluable experience in the field of HighFrequency Trading across different asset classes With a focus on innovation entrepreneurship and collaboration we aim to foster a dynamic work environment that reflects a startup culture Role Overview As the DC Operations Manager you will be the linchpin of our highfrequency trading operations ensuring optimal performance of our production clusters Your role is crucial in managing onsite operations optimizing infrastructure and driving innovation in our stateoftheart trading environments You will also be responsible for leading infrastructure projects ensuring seamless scalability and enhancing system efficiency Key Responsibilities Data Center Operations Coordination Manage the daytoday operations in our data centers Ensure seamless coordination of onsite tasks including hardware installation maintenance and troubleshooting Maintain the smooth functioning of trading infrastructure to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency Infrastructure Project Ownership Drive infrastructurerelated projects endtoend from planning and resource allocation to implementation and postdeployment reviews Lead initiatives to scale optimize and upgrade infrastructure in line with business and trading growth Take ownership of timelines budgets and crossfunctional coordination Hardware and Software Deployment Oversee the setup and initial installation of all hardware and software Ensure systems are operational and optimized for trading performance Configure servers network devices and storage systems to meet the demanding requirements of highfrequency trading Health Monitoring and Reporting Monitor and report on the health of hardware deployed in our data centers Use monitoring tools analyze performance metrics and provide regular status updates to relevant stakeholders Identify and address potential issues before they impact trading operations Rack Management and Verification Verify rack configurations after any changes or maintenance activities Ensure proper cable management airflow optimization and correct labeling to maintain an organized and effective data center environment Inventory Management Maintain accurate records of server inflow and outflow Track hardware assets manage spare parts and ensure necessary equipment availability Vendor Management Manage vendor relationships including placing orders and negotiating terms Avoid bottlenecks in the supply chain and ensure timely delivery of hardware and services Crossfunctional Collaboration Work closely with software developers and system administrators to ensure smooth operations in colocations and data centers Understand the technical requirements of trading systems and implement necessary infrastructure Process Improvement and Automation Identify areas for optimization and propose solutions Implement automated processes to enhance efficiency and reduce manual interventions Capacity Planning Plan for future data center capacity needs to support the companys growth Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science Electrical Engineering or a related field from a toptier institution 10 years of experience in managing largescale data center or infrastructure operations Proven experience in leading crossfunctional infrastructure projects Strong understanding of server hardware network equipment and data center design principles Handson experience with automation tools scripting and monitoring systems Strong problemsolving skills and aptitude for understanding complex systems Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Processoriented mindset with a focus on automation High level of accountability and ownership of work Willing to work extended hours or weekends as necessary Ability to provide 24x7 oncall support in emergency situations What We Offer Competitive salary package Opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment Career growth and development opportunities Catered breakfast and lunch
