Job Description About the Role At Uber we reimagine the way the world moves for the better There are a lot of operations and technologies that enable this mission and Ubers Global Scaled Solutions GSS org leads several of those capabilities such as data collection data annotation for AI ML innovation localization internationalization testing map editing digitization programs and more We have built industryleading tech and ops muscle for the same and are now externalizing these offerings with Uber AI solutions The techops solution coupled with Ubers strength of building a platform for flexible work will enable enterprises worldwide to accelerate their data AI and product journeys While we do this we look forward to creating adaptable earnings opportunities through online tasks for millions of people across the world Together our tech operations expertise and platform for knowledge work are uniquely positioned to be the bestinclass humanintheloop solution for the industry We are looking for an Fulfillment Operations Manager to ensure success of the freelance experts supply and manage processes across several geographies to meet program requirements and deepen freelancer engagements This role will need to ensure both vendorsourced and individual freelance experts utilization work with xfn stakeholders to unlock different skillset and task types for freelance experts optimize onboarding freelance experts lifecycle partnering with Program Management teams and Product teams to build operationalize and improve efficiency of the marketplace This role will work closely with both local and regional teams across regions and support the strategy and execution of how Uber AI Solutions attracts acquires and develops skilled gig workers at scale through technology automation and process optimization What the Candidate Will Do Build fulfillment strategy for programs to ensure speed quality and cost standards are met Shape and manage the programs track progress resolve dependencies evaluate risks and communicate status to management and project partnersManage freelance experts lifecycles to improve retention and develop new skills for higher utilization and engagementManage vendor relationships to ensure velocity and quality requirements are deliveredBuild improve processes operational efficiencies and identify automation opportunities What the Candidate Will Need 4 years of experience in running program operations and building gig marketplace Proven ability to lead and execute initiatives with experience in coordinating crossfunctional teams setting timelines and ensuring smooth implementations in dynamic environments Advanced expertise in using analytics to drive supply chain and workforce optimization Strong proficiency in analyzing freelancer performance operational metrics and market trends through data tools e g SQL Tableau to make informed strategic decisions Ability to work efficiently and influence others without exerting direct authorityAbility to take initiative in a constantlychanging work environment
