Role Purpose:

The TGT Science Teacher will play a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive science education to students. You will ignite curiosity and passion for science while ensuring that students develop critical thinking and practical skills necessary for understanding scientific principles.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and deliver engaging science lessons in accordance with the curriculum.
- Implement effective student engagement strategies to enhance learning outcomes.
- Conduct laboratory experiments and practical demonstrations to reinforce theoretical knowledge.
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to foster improvement.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to develop interdisciplinary projects and enhance the overall educational experience.
- Communicate with parents regarding student progress and address any concerns.
- Participate in professional development programs to stay updated with the latest teaching methodologies.

Team Collaboration:

You will work closely with fellow teachers, administrative staff,



and educational leaders to ensure a cohesive approach to education and contribute to school-wide initiatives.

Requirements:

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Science Education or a related field.

Experience Requirements:

4-6 years of teaching experience in a formal educational setting, preferably in middle or high school.

Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in lesson planning and curriculum development.
- Strong understanding of scientific principles across various disciplines: Life Science, Earth and Space Science, and Physical Science.
- Laboratory skills and the ability to conduct practical experiments safely and effectively.

Soft Skills:

- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Adaptability and creativity in teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles.

Certifications:

Teaching certification or license in the relevant subject area is preferred.
