SE Driver Manual Testing C1 Bangalore

Your role

We're looking for a Manual QA Engineer with hands-on Modbus experience and 6-9 years of relevant experience.

- Perform end-to-end validation of device drivers across Windows/Linux platforms.
- Design, develop, and execute manual test cases based on functional and technical specifications.
- Validate driver installation, configuration, upgrade, rollback, and compatibility scenarios.
- Conduct regression, integration, system, and interoperability testing.
- Identify, document, track, and verify defects using defect management tools.
- Collaborate with developers, product teams, and hardware engineers to reproduce and resolve issues.
- Analyse logs, system traces, and crash dumps for root cause investigation.

Technical Skills

- Robust understanding of Manual Testing concepts and STLC.
- Hands-on experience with Modbus protocol.
- Experience in testing device drivers or system-level software.
- Knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
- Working experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Bugzilla.




- Basic understanding of hardware interfaces and driver architecture
- Understanding of API testing concepts.
- Familiarity with Git version control.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
- Exposure to PowerShell, Python, or Shell scripting.
- Knowledge of performance and stress testing methodologies.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.
