- Lab Engineer / Gas Chromatography (GC) Technician

Location: Ghaziabad
Experience: 4–5 Years
Qualification: Diploma / B.Tech / M.Sc. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a relevant field

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Lab Engineer / Gas Chromatography (GC) Technician to operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and ensure the proper functioning of laboratory GC instruments. The candidate should have hands-on experience working with GC systems in a laboratory or testing environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate and perform routine analysis using Gas Chromatography (GC) instruments

- Prepare samples, standards, and reagents for GC analysis

- Perform instrument calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting

- Monitor instrument performance and ensure accurate and reliable test results

- Identify and resolve basic technical issues related to GC equipment

- Maintain laboratory records, test reports, and instrument logs

- Follow laboratory SOPs, safety procedures, and quality standards





- Coordinate with the laboratory and technical teams for testing requirements

- Ensure proper handling, storage, and maintenance of laboratory equipment

- Support preventive maintenance and servicing of GC instruments

Requirements
- 4–5 years of relevant experience as a GC Technician, Lab Engineer, Instrumentation Technician, or similar role

- Solid hands-on experience with Gas Chromatography (GC) laboratory instruments

- Knowledge of GC operation, calibration, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance

- Experience in sample preparation and analytical testing

- Good understanding of laboratory safety and quality procedures

- Ability to maintain accurate technical documentation and reports

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

- Candidates with experience in analytical/testing laboratories will be preferred
