Job Description – Accounts Executive (AR/AP)

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Executive with 3-6 years of experience in Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and Tally ERP. The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, vendor and customer reconciliations, invoice processing, payment follow-ups, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable (AR)

- Generate and process customer invoices accurately and on time.
- Monitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Prepare AR aging reports and support collection activities.

Accounts Payable (AP)

- Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.
- Verify invoices, purchase orders, and supporting documents.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve payment-related issues.
- Maintain records of all vendor transactions and payments.





General Accounting

- Record accounting transactions in Tally ERP.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ledger scrutiny.
- Maintain accounting records and supporting documentation.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Support statutory audits and internal audits.
- Prepare MIS reports as required by management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field.
- 3-6 years of experience in accounting, preferably handling AR and AP functions.
- Hands-on experience in Tally ERP/Tally Prime.
- Valuable knowledge of GST, TDS, and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical, communication, and reconciliation skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of ERP systems and financial reporting.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
