Actuarial Analyst supporting pricing and actuarial analysis for US Property & Casualty (P&C;) insurance products, primarily Commercial Lines. The role involves data analysis, rate reviews, regulatory filings, and pricing validation
Responsibilities
- Perform actuarial pricing and rate review analyses for Commercial P&C; insurance products.
- Analyze insurance data and support rate filing activities.
- Review ISO/NCCI bureau changes and assess pricing impact.
- Validate implemented rates and rating factors post-deployment.
- Prepare actuarial documentation, reports, and regulatory filing materials.
- Participate in peer reviews and maintain actuarial best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or Engineering.
- 3-6 years of actuarial experience in the P&C; insurance industry.
- IAI/IFOA/CAS affiliation and actuarial exams preferred.
- Solid Excel and SQL skills; Python and Databricks are an added advantage
