Horizon Renewable Power is a rooftop solar player with over 10+ years in the sector, currently projects under execution of 72MW+ across Delhi NCR, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Jammu & Kashmir and Uttarakhand. We're empaneled under PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana and are now scaling our residential rooftop business as our primary growth engine, building on existing project track record. We're bootstrapped and growing rapid — this role will have real ownership from day one, not a slot in a large existing team.

Role Overview




We're looking for a Business Development Manager to build and scale Horizon's residential rooftop solar business across our operating states. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role closer to homeowners and DISCOMs than to boardrooms covering everything from lead generation and conversion to financing-partner relationships and after-sales attach.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience selling or driving BD for residential rooftop solar, ideally under the PM Surya Ghar scheme specifically.
- Strong understanding of the renewable energy sector, specifically rooftop solar markets and expertise in preparing techno-commercial proposals.
- Ability to build and run a residential lead-generation funnel — digital, referral, and channel/dealer-based — and to track conversion rigorously
- Working knowledge of DISCOM net-metering processes, subsidy disbursement timelines, and vendor empanelment requirements — and how these vary across states
- Experience in conducting
