Role Description

The Telecaller is responsible for generating and qualifying sales leads for CNC and laser-based machinery solutions. The role involves calling prospective clients from provided databases and campaigns, explaining product offerings, identifying customer requirements, and scheduling appointments for the sales team. The Telecaller maintains accurate call records, follows up on leads, and coordinates closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth handover of qualified prospects.

Key Responsibilities

● Make outbound calls to prospective clients to generate and qualify sales leads

● Explain company products and services clearly to gauge customer interest





● Schedule appointments/demos for the sales team with qualified leads

● Maintain and update call records, lead status, and follow-ups in the CRM

● Achieve daily/weekly targets for calls made and leads generated

● Coordinate with the sales team for timely lead handover and feedback

Qualifications

● Any graduate or equivalent; prior telecalling/telesales experience preferred

● Transparent, confident, and polite communication skills in English and Tamil

● Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with CRM/spreadsheet tools

● Ability to handle rejection positively and stay target-driven

● Good listening skills to understand and capture customer requirements accurately

Added Advantage

● Prior experience in telecalling for industrial or B2B machinery products

● Basic awareness of CNC or laser machinery is a plus
