Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Monitor and lead Purchase & store
2. Develop and implement efficient procurement strategies to meet the company's manufacturing requirements.
3. Source and procure raw materials, chemicals, packaging materials, equipment, and other supplies needed for the ink manufacturing process.
4. Identify reliable suppliers, negotiate terms and conditions, and establish long-term relationships to ensure a stable supply chain.
5. Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, delivery, cost, and other relevant factors to drive continuous improvement.
6. Monitor market trends, pricing, and availability of materials to make informed purchasing decisions and minimize costs.
7. Collaborate with production, quality control, and other departments to forecast demand and plan procurement activities accordingly.
8. Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Optimize inventory levels to ensure adequate stock while minimizing carrying costs and obsolescence.
10. Handle and resolve any issues or disputes with suppliers, ensuring a smooth procurement process.
11. Implement cost-saving initiatives and value engineering to improve efficiency and reduce overall expenditure.
12. Stay updated on industry developments, recent materials, and emerging technologies to drive innovation in the procurement process.

Required Candidate profile

Familiarity with raw materials, chemicals, and equipment used in ink manufacturing is highly desirable.
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and analytical abilities to effectively manage procurement activities.

Work Timings: Day Shift
Educational Qualifications: Any Graduate, preferred Supply Chain Management, or a related field
Experience: Minimum of 8 years of proven experience as a Purchase Manager.
