SAP ABAP Technical Skills

As an ABAP Developer, you’ll be at the heart of transforming business requirements into scalable, high-performance SAP solutions. You’ll collaborate closely with functional teams and fellow developers to design, build, and optimize custom ABAP code that powers critical business processes — from financial reporting to supply chain operations.

ABAP Development: Master core ABAP and ABAP Objects (OO ABAP) to build robust, reusable components — with a sharp focus on debugging, performance tuning, and clean, maintainable code.

RICEFW Solutions: Design and implement Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows (RICEFW) to extend standard SAP functionality and meet evolving business needs.

DDIC Expertise: Leverage the ABAP Dictionary (DDIC) to define and manage data structures — including tables, views, data elements, domains, search helps, and lock objects — ensuring data integrity and consistency across the system.

Reporting & Analytics: Build energetic, user-friendly ALV reports (Classical, Function Module,



and Object-Oriented ALV) that turn raw data into actionable insights for decision-makers.

Enhancements & Extensions: Extend standard SAP functionality using modern techniques like BAdIs, User Exits, Enhancement Framework (SPRO, EEW), and custom Enhancement Points.

Integration & Interfaces: Develop secure, reliable interfaces using BAPIs, RFCs, ALE, and IDocs to connect SAP with external systems and enable seamless data exchange.

Data Migration & Load: Execute complex data migrations using BDC (Batch Data Communication) and LSMW (Legacy System Migration Workbench) to ensure accurate and timely system transitions.
