nKantilal Patel & Co. (KPC) is looking for a GST, TDS and Income Tax Assistant to join our taxation team in Ahmedabad.
nThis is a junior-level role involving independent management of routine GST and TDS compliance and assistance to senior professionals on Income Tax, assessments, notices, refunds, advisory and litigation matters.
nExperience: 1–4 years of relevant experience. Compensation: Commensurate with relevant experience and capability for a junior assistant role.
nYour Key Responsibilities

- Independently manage assigned routine GST compliance, including data collection, preparation and filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-6 and other applicable periodic returns, maintaining records and meeting deadlines. Escalate technical issues to senior professionals.n
- Independently manage assigned TDS compliance, including reconciliations, preparation and filing of TDS returns, follow-up for information and tracking filing deadlines, with technical guidance from senior professionals where needed.n
- Perform routine GST reconciliations of books,



GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B; identify mismatches and assist senior professionals in resolving technical issues.n
- Assist in preparing GSTR-9 and GSTR-9C, annual reconciliations and supporting schedules under the guidance and review of senior professionals.n
- Assist in Income Tax computations, return preparation, tax audit work and related documentation under senior supervision.n
- Assist in GST audits, scrutiny, notices, summons and assessment proceedings, and in Income Tax assessments, notices and related submissions.n
- Assist in drafting replies, submissions and supporting working papers for review and finalisation by senior professionals.n
- Assist in GST refund applications, appeals, litigation research and preparation of supporting documents for GST and Income Tax matters.n
