Job Overview
As a Lead Electrical Commissioning Engineer at Big Sky Operations, you will play a crucial role in managing all electrical aspects of assigned commissioning projects from initial engagement through turnover to the client.
You will ensure that all electrical systems are tested and functioning in accordance with design specifications and client requirements, while maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all electrical commissioning and integrated testing activities in accordance with the approved commissioning plan and client-defined scope.
- Serve as the electrical commissioning authority and on-site technical lead for data center and mission-critical electrical systems.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to the client, providing clear guidance on design intent, constructability, risk, cost, schedule, and operational impact.
- Coordinate closely with OEMs, contractors, consultants, site teams, and client representatives to obtain accurate technical data and drive timely decisions.
