nMonth-End Close Operations
n● Execute all BlackLine close cycle activities within the WD-3 to WD+5 PST
nwindow: monitor interfaces, resolve data import errors, schedule and run FX rate
nloads, GL and FCCS balance imports, Journal Master jobs, AJD runs, and Import
nDefinition jobs.
n● Monitor Oracle-to-BlackLine journal entry posting and troubleshoot failures;
ncoordinate resolution with the Oracle GL team and Finance Operations within
nclose windows.
n● Coordinate COA updates from Oracle Cloud GL to BlackLine in support of
nperiod-end accuracy and Project Unity migration activities.
n● Support and maintain Alteryx workflows used for JE and balance load
nautomation; troubleshoot errors affecting Import Definition file delivery and AJD
nexecution.
nSystem Administration & Configuration
n● Manage user access, roles, entity permissions, and team configurations; process
nprovisioning and deprovisioning requests per SOX access control and change
nmanagement standards.
n● Manage account assignments, reconciliation groupings,



task dependencies,
nperiod configuration, and organizational settings to support accurate close
nexecution.
n● Maintain master data, lookup tables, import definition configurations, and static
ndescriptions to ensure accurate data flows and reconciliation mapping.
n● Coordinate BlackLine instance cloning to keep non-production environments
naligned with Oracle non-production instances.
nIntake, Support & Documentation
n● Manage the Jira intake queue for BlackLine change requests, access requests,
nand issues; triage and execute or escalate as appropriate.
n● Respond to Slack support requests from Accounting and Finance Operations;
nescalate platform-level issues to GFT engineering as needed.
n● Maintain the BlackLine knowledge base, SharePoint SOPs, and the Master List
nof Import Definitions, AJDs, and account configurations.
