You've never met the principal you're calling. Sixty seconds in, you need them to hand you fifteen minutes of an assembly, or ten minutes of their own time.
This job is a hundred of those calls a month, and then actually turning up when someone says yes.
WHY THIS JOB EXISTS
Let's Enterprise runs The Working BBA, a three-year degree where the real work is the curriculum. Students run projects for real companies, do real apprenticeships, and leave with a portfolio rather than a transcript. Families choose it over a normal college with a normal degree, and that is not a small decision.
Almost nobody discovers the Working BBA on their own. A school has to say yes to a presentation. A career fair has to have a stall we're standing at. Someone has to be the person a principal actually picks up the phone for, and then the person who shows up and makes the case to a room of students. That's you.
HALF THE JOB: THE PHONE
• Cold call schools you've never spoken to, and ask the principal or the right decision-maker for time. Most of them say no, or say nothing at all.
• Get an actual date on the calendar. Not "let's stay in touch," a scheduled slot for a presentation, an assembly, or a career fair stall.
• Keep a live list of every school you've called, where each one stands, and when you're calling back. Nothing goes cold because you forgot it.
• Follow up like it's the job, because it is. Most yeses come from the third call, not the first.
THE OTHER HALF: ON THE ROAD
• Travel to the schools that say yes. Some weeks that's a day trip, some weeks it's back to back across a region.
• Stand in front of a room of students you've never met and make the Working BBA make sense in twenty minutes, then take their questions.
• Work career fairs. Hours on your feet at a stall, talking to student after student and their parents.
• Hand off every interested student and parent to admissions with the context that got them interested, so the conversation doesn't restart from zero.
