English Literature Tutor (Online) | Years 3–11 | GCSE, KS2 SATs & 11+

nWe are seeking a passionate, experienced, and dedicated English Educator to join our growing team and deliver engaging online lessons to students from Year 3 through Year 11.

nKey Responsibilities
n

n* Deliver high-quality online English lessons to students across Years 3–11.
n* Prepare students for:
n

n * KS2 SATs
n * 11+ Grammar School Entrance Examinations
n * GCSE English Language and English Literature
n* Develop lesson plans, resources, homework, and assessments tailored to individual student needs.
n* Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback.
n* Foster a positive and engaging online learning environment.
n* Adapt teaching methods to suit students of varying abilities and learning styles.
n

nEssential Requirements
n

n* A Bachelor’s degree in English Literature, Literature, Education, or a related field.
n* Minimum 1–2 years of experience teaching or tutoring GCSE English.
n* Strong understanding of the *UK National Curriculum*.




n* Experience preparing students for *GCSE, KS2 SATs, and 11+ examinations*.
n* Familiarity with major *GCSE exam boards, including AQA, Edexcel, OCR, and Eduqas*.
n* Ability to confidently teach students from *Year 3 to Year 11*.
n* Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
n* Access to a *pen tablet* and/or proficiency in using an *interactive online whiteboard* for lesson delivery.
n* Reliable internet connection and a professional online teaching setup.
n

nPreferred Qualifications
n

n* Previous experience teaching within the UK education system.
n* Experience working with high-achieving students and grammar school entrance preparation.
n* Familiarity with online teaching platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams.
