Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in Big Data technologies, Scala, and Spark to design and build scalable data pipelines and analytics platforms. The ideal candidate will have solid SQL skills and exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Primary Skills (Must Have)
- Big Data ecosystem (Hadoop/Spark)
- Scala programming
- Apache Spark (batch & streaming)
- Advanced SQL (performance tuning, complex queries)

Secondary Skills (Valuable to Have)
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP) – BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Storage
- Data pipeline orchestration (Airflow or similar)
- Data warehousing & ETL design
- Performance optimization & cost tuning

Key Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable data pipelines using Spark & Scala.
- Develop high-performance ETL/ELT workflows.
- Optimize SQL queries and data models for analytics.
- Implement data solutions on GCP.
- Ensure data quality, reliability, and governance.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts for data accessibility.
