As a Business Development Associate, you'll play a critical role in building those connections and growing the JCiTL ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Identify and proactively build relationships with promising founders, investors, family offices, strategic partners, and other ecosystem stakeholders.
- Source new business and investment opportunities through outbound research, networking, referrals, events, and other channels.
- Maintain the CRM capability for existing clients and new clients.
- Understand businesses, sectors, business models, and investor mandates to identify where genuine synergies and value can be created.
- Develop and maintain a solid pipeline of founders, investors, and potential opportunities.




- Initiate conversations with founders and investors and take relationships from the first interaction through to meaningful engagement.
- Craft sharp, thoughtful emails, outreach messages, pitches, and communication for different stakeholders.

- Can understand the interplay between customer relations, sales and marketing.
- Is able to generate leads in alignment with JCiTL's strategic business goals.
- Is a natural at building relationships, researching businesses, spotting connections, and turning conversations into opportunities.
- Can handle sales, research, relationship management, and execution flawlessly.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- 0–2 years of experience in business development, sales, venture capital, consulting, investment banking, startup ecosystems, or marketing.
