Job Description:
Technical Writer II - Role Overview As a Technical Writer II, you will own end-to-end documentation tasks/projects for Barry-Wehmiller machinery/product lines using structured authoring applications to scale quality, consistency, and speed. You’ll partner closely with global Engineering, Product Line Managers, and other cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality product documentation. A key component of this role involves contributing to our ongoing Content Management System (CMS) implementation and driving documentation excellence across the full product lifecycle.



Key Responsibilities Technical Content Development:  Create, review, and maintain comprehensive and well-structured documentation for Barry Wehmiller machinery/products, services, and processes.  Translate complex technical information into explicit, concise, and user-friendly content, tailored to a wide range of audiences, including customers, internal teams, and for training purposes.  Work with global teams to understand and learn about the products and write procedures in technical documentation.  Own end-to-end documentation tasks using desktop and structured authoring applications to scale quality, consistency, and speed.  Ensure timely execution of documentation tasks in compliance with guidelines, best practices, and deliver defect free output.  Ensure all documentation adheres to applicable technical writing standards and guidelines such as ASD-STE100 (Simplified Technical English) and company style guides.
