Broad Function:

As Plant Head, you will be responsible for the overall management and performance of FCI’s printing plant located at Chennai.

The role requires complete ownership of plant operations including production, quality, maintenance, monthly billing, manpower planning, staff recruitment, productivity, wastage control, cost management, safety,



compliance, inventory, dispatch and overall operational efficiency.

The Plant Head will be expected to independently lead the plant, ensure achievement of production and quality targets, maintain robust process discipline, build a capable plant team and work closely with senior management and support functions.

Since the role requires regular interaction with local employees as well as teams and management across locations, the candidate must be comfortable communicating in Tamil, English and Hindi.
