About Internal Audit
Internal Audit function of the Bank, operates independently under the supervision of the Audit Committee of the Board and is responsible for providing an independent view to the Board of Directors and Senior Management on the quality and efficacy of the internal controls, risk management systems, governance systems and processes in place on an on-going basis. This is provided to primarily ensure that the business and support functions are in compliance with both internal and regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
• Compliance with Timelines: i.



To conduct investigations into verifiable allegations reported during the course of the year and / or complaints received/assigned by CIV/Dy. CIV and submission of reports for further consideration of the Disciplinary Authority ii. Completion of investigation and submission of reports within stipulated timelines
• Comprehensiveness and quality of investigations, -Focus on Root Cause Analysis, Identification of Process / Control Gaps -Provide qualitative recommendations for improvement of processes and mitigation of corruption Risk -Identification and fixing of Staff Accountability -Maintaining evidences, records & documentation pertaining to investigations
• Assimilating intelligence during investigation about corrupt practices committed or likely to be committed by employees of the Bank which inter alia includes reviewing available information and providing necessary insights to the Dy. CIV/CIV from a preventive vigilance perspective
