Role Overview:
We are looking for a WordPress Developer who can build and maintain custom WordPress websites with strong attention to detail, performance, and SEO best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and customize WordPress websites using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Create and modify WordPress themes and plugins.
- Implement on-page SEO fundamentals (meta tags, sitemaps, schema, page speed).
- Troubleshoot website issues and maintain site security and performance.
- Collaborate with designers and content teams to deliver responsive, SEO-friendly websites.
Requirements:
- 0–2 years of hands-on WordPress development experience.
- Good knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery).
- Understanding of PHP and MySQL.
- Familiarity with SEO basics (meta titles, alt tags, URLs, schema, etc.).
- Experience with cPanel or similar hosting environments is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with custom post types, ACF (Advanced Custom Fields), and WP hooks/actions.
- Knowledge of version control (Git).
- Ability to convert Figma/XD designs into fully functional WordPress sites.
