The Role
We’re seeking a Senior ERP Systems Engineer (IBM i) to join our Applications Support practice, embedded onsite with one of our key enterprise clients in the manufacturing and distribution sector in Melbourne.This is a hands-on senior role focused on the support, stabilisation, and ongoing operation of legacy ERP platforms running on IBM i / AS400, including BPCS, ASW, and IBS.
You’ll work closely with the client’s Applications team while remaining a Talink employee, providing technical leadership, strong ownership,



and guidance across a hybrid onshore/offshore support model.
Client & Technology Environment
You’ll be working in a complex, mission-critical ERP landscape across Australia and Recent Zealand, including:
- BPCS 6.1 – Manufacturing (core stable with significant custom modules)
- ASW 3.5 – Distribution (heavily customised)
- IBS 6.1 – Distributiion
- IBS Integrator – Middleware & integrations
- IBM i / AS400 platform
- Technologies: RPG (RPG III / RPGLE / ILE), CL, DB2/400

These systems underpin core manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution operations and require deep technical understanding and operational maturity.
