nRole Overview
nDayananda Sagar University is looking for an experienced and mature professional to lead the overall administration, operations, facilities and student management of the University's hostels/residential facilities.
nThe role will be responsible for ensuring a safe, disciplined, well-managed and student-friendly residential setting across both boys' and girls' hostels.
nKey Responsibilities

- Lead the overall administration and day-to-day operations of student housing/hostel facilities.n
- Oversee boys' and girls' hostels, including student discipline, welfare, safety and conduct.n
- Manage hostel wardens, residential staff, security, housekeeping and support teams.n
- Ensure effective facilities management, maintenance, cleanliness, security and safety.n
- Handle student concerns, grievances, emergencies and disciplinary matters.n
- Coordinate with University administration,



parents/guardians and other departments.n
- Monitor student attendance, movement, incidents and hostel records.n
- Ensure timely resolution of maintenance and facility-related issues.n
- Handle crisis situations calmly and effectively with solid administrative control.n
- Drive continuous improvement in student experience and residential services.n

nPreferred Profile

- n
- 10+ years of relevant administrative / residential / hostel management experience.n
- Strong preference for candidates with a Defence background – Indian Army, Navy or Air Force, especially those with experience in administration, personnel management, residential establishments or facilities.n
- Candidates with strong education sector / university / residential campus experience will be preferred.n
- Proven experience in managing large student/residential facilities and teams.n
