About the Role
You will be a senior engineer on the x360 Sync team at Connect Wise, owning development of the mac OS agent — a native desktop application at the heart of the x360 Sync backup and file sync product. The application is primarily written in C++, with Swift and Objective-C used for mac OS-native components. You will be stepping into a mature codebase with real ownership and scope from day one.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain features in the x360 Sync mac OS agent, working primarily in C++ with Swift and Objective-C for platform-native integrations Debug and resolve production issues, including deep-dive investigation across the application stack and mac OS system APIs Participate in architecture and design discussions, contributing technical recommendations grounded in mac OS platform best practices Write clean, well-tested code and take part in code reviews — both giving and receiving constructive feedback Collaborate with product managers, QA engineers,



and cross-functional teams to deliver features on schedule without cutting corners on quality Contribute to improving engineering standards, internal tooling, and development processes Help scope and break down complex problems into well-defined tasks for yourself and the broader team Document technical decisions, system behavior, and processes clearly for teammates and future contributors Mandatory skills
